Sutter County Children & Families Commission is charged with allocation and oversight of Proposition 10 tobacco tax funds in Sutter County, to benefit the County’s children prenatal through age 5 and their families. The Commission routinely embarks on a Strategic Planning process to determine community needs, assets, and gaps where the Commission may be able to have an impact. On January 21, 2015, the Commission approved its 2015-2020 Strategic Plan. This Plan identifies guiding principles, goals, and specific actions for investment for Fiscal Years 2015-2020.
The RFP will address specific strategies within the Early Learning and Development services that require a competitive selection process through the Request for Proposals process.
Specific to this Child and Parent Centered Community-Based School Readiness Services RFP, the funding focuses on the Early Learning and Development priority, with the goal that all children enter kindergarten ready to learn.
